For Crypto & Digital-Asset Founders

Launch Readiness Assessment.

Don’t start with a major legal workstream. Start by finding out which legal problems actually matter, with a preliminary view on the ones that decide your launch.

Fixed fee

$7,500*

Credited in full against an engagement signed within 60 days. No open-ended hourly billing for the agreed scope.

The Launch Readiness Assessment is a fixed-scope legal assessment for crypto, stablecoin, tokenization and digital-asset teams preparing to launch or enter a new market. We review your project, identify the priority legal and regulatory issues, give you a preliminary view on the questions that decide your launch, and set out a practical roadmap for what to address next.

You receive

  • A 60-minute strategy session with a Crypto Law Hub attorney.
  • A focused review of selected project materials reasonably necessary for the assessment — generally up to five documents and 30 pages in total.
  • A written Launch Risk Map of your priority legal and regulatory issues, delivered within 10 business days of kickoff.
  • A preliminary view on the three questions that decide a launch: how your token, product or activity is likely to be classified under U.S. law; which licenses or registrations your business model may trigger in your principal market before launch; and what in your launch structure should change first. This view is preliminary and is not a legal opinion.
  • A 30-Day Legal Action Plan: what to do next, and in what order.
  • A 30-minute follow-up discussion.

Each Assessment covers one project, one proposed business model or launch, and its principal contemplated market. If intake shows your project needs more than that, we’ll tell you before you engage us and propose a custom scope instead.

What the Assessment is not

The Assessment is focused triage, a preliminary view and a legal roadmap, not a comprehensive legal review. It does not include:

  • line-by-line document review, contract review or diligence;
  • a formal legal opinion, a comprehensive securities-law determination or a token classification opinion;
  • jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction analysis, or regulatory research beyond initial issue-spotting;
  • document drafting, contract revision or entity formation;
  • filings or correspondence with regulators; or
  • tax analysis.

Projects involving complex token structures, multiple jurisdictions, formal legal opinions, extensive document review or active regulatory matters require a separate scope. If the review identifies an issue requiring substantive legal research or a formal legal conclusion, we identify that work in your Launch Risk Map and provide a separate scope before undertaking it.

The Assessment is offered after an initial consultation, where we check fit and conflicts. Subject to suitability, conflicts clearance and an executed engagement agreement. Please don’t include confidential details before conflicts are cleared. Prefer to talk first? Call (347) 352-2257.

The credit applies to legal fees only, is applied to the first invoice of the new engagement, and expires 60 days after delivery of the Launch Risk Map.
