A cross-border strategist at the intersection of law, technology, and capital, she advises on tokenization, stablecoins, on-chain payment infrastructure, and the deployment of blockchain systems within complex regulatory environments. On the most ambitious projects, she operates as both legal counsel and strategic thought leader — spanning market architecture, capital strategy, and jurisdictional structuring to guide ventures from design through global execution.
Her engagements extend across the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, including real-world asset tokenization, sovereign and institutional advisory, and next-generation financial infrastructure. She is equally active in litigation and regulatory proceedings, bringing a dual advisory and contentious perspective to matters operating at the highest levels of scrutiny.
Crystal contributes to the global dialogue on digital-asset law through lectures, publications, and accredited Continuing Legal Education. Her analytical vigor — tracking statutes across five continents as they move from draft to rulemaking to enforcement — has made her a trusted voice on emerging regulatory regimes and how sophisticated clients should position before new frameworks arrive.
She holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a degree from Yale University, and is admitted to practice in New York, Georgia, and Texas.

Todd Venning brings more than fifteen years of legal, financial, and executive leadership to Crypto Law Hub, anchoring the firm's institutional finance practice. He operates at the rare intersection of lawyer, institutional financier, and civic executive — a perspective that informs his counsel to sovereigns, institutional funds, and enterprises structuring complex, high-stakes digital-asset, tokenization, and cross-border capital transactions.
Todd is the Founder and CEO of VGS Global, a cross-border advisory firm. He previously served as City Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Newburgh, New York, following his tenure as the City's Chief Financial Officer. Before that, he managed municipal budgets exceeding $1 billion at the New York City Office of Management and Budget — experience that shaped his command of fiscal strategy, capital deployment, and civic governance at institutional scale.
He brings this background to Crypto Law Hub's fintech and crypto-structuring practice, advising on capital formation, market architecture, governance frameworks, and the integration of digital assets into institutional financial systems.
Todd earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, a Master of Science in Finance from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States Tax Court.
